お久しぶりです。最近はコロナウイルスの影響で仕事量が増え、書きたかった記事がかけませんでした。今回はそんな虚しい気持ちも吹き飛ばす、ノーフォーク島で誰もが心奪われる美しさのエミリーベイを紹介したいと思います。

Long time no see, it has been pretty hectic situation due to COVID 19, I was unable to write an article about Norfolk Island. In this article, I want to share the experiences of Emily Bay. You will be filled with awe when you first see the crystal blue waters of the bay.

エミリーベイ/Emily Bay

ノーフォーク島でよく知られている観光地といえばエミリーベイだと思います。島内周回ツアーでも必ず目的地であり、ノーフォーク島のインスタグラムアカウントでもよくフィーチャーされている場所で、写真を見るたびにその美しさに引き込まれてしまいます。

Emily Bay is one of the most known destination in Emily Bay. This place is unmissable location during the Island Tour. Norfolk Island Tourism often features this place. I am always drawn into the beauty of Emily Bay whenever I see photos on Instagram.

ラグーンと呼ばれる池のような浅瀬で、サンゴ礁や多くの魚を見ることができます。入り組んだ地形のため、波もとても弱く、水遊びや、スノーケルにも適した場所だと思います。

Emily Bay is known as lagoon. You can see the reef and fish. Thanks to being protected by the lagoon, it is a safe swimming beach and free from shark. It is also suitable location for snorkelling and other water sports.

また地元の子供たちや観光客もよく泳ぎに来ています。ラグーンの中心には登って休むことができる浮きが浮いており、そこから飛び込んだり、その上で休んだりできます。

This is popular place for local kids and tourists. In the middle of Emily Bay, you can find floating island. Kids are jumping into water or rest on it.

エミリーベイはどこにあるの？/Where is Emily Bay?

エミリーベイはノーフォーク島南部とキングストンエリアにあります。キングストン史跡の東にあり、エミリーベイの周りはノーフォークパインで囲まれています。エミリーベイの隣にはスローターベイと呼ばれる、これまた綺麗な浅瀬の海岸と湾が広がっています。

Emily Bay is located in the southern part of Norfolk Island, and located in Kingston area. Emily bay is located in the eastern side of another beautiful Slaughter Bay, another beautiful lagoon.

エミリーベイは神秘的で非常に綺麗な場所で多くの人の癒しになっていると思います。1日の観光の終わりをエミリーベイの夕陽を見ながらすごすのもアイデアだと思います。

1日も早くビクトリア州の規制が緩み、ノーフォーク島で時間を過ごせることを心より楽しみにしています。
I am really hoping the COVID restriction eases in Victoria, and I can travel to Norfolk Island and spend time here very soon.
